Psychology Careers

The ability to explain the mental processes that control the actions of the individual is a valuable trait among many job seekers. A large variety of psychological fields exist though, many a large variety in the workplace. From forensic to psychometric psychology, there are a wide variety of careers in place.

Career in Psychology

A career in psychology is a lot more rewarding than many would think, even if the job title is not psychologist. The understanding of people one develops with a psychology degree aides in numerous career fields, whether it be manager position or aiding people directly at a hospital.

Psychology Degree Jobs

Many jobs do not so much require a psychology degree as they require experience and someone who has spent time in a University. Board certified psychologists are about the only career requiring a specific degree in psychology. Not to say that the degree isn't useful, as the education gained is more valuable to a job than any piece of paper.

FBI Career

Those with a degree in psychology may take interest in a career at the FBI. Interest in criminology or law is also useful, but not required, as many FBI careers only require a bachelor's degree, with most training being done on the job under a senior agent.
